Although a relative newcomer to the screen, Janaya has raised more than a few eyebrows by receiving her full ACTRA membership only six months into her career. She landed her first principle role on an episode of Twice in a Lifetime. Soon after, she landed a guest lead on Lexx, an episode directed by Chris Bould. Janaya has also landed roles on The Relic Hunter, the Feature film The Skulls, directed by Rob Cohen , and on the pilot for the Cruel Intentions spin off pilot, Machester Prep, directed by Roger Kumble.
